As a long-time college educator, I’ve been to my fair share of workshops and trainings, most of which were during in-service week while I was trying desperately to prepare classes. It took a lot to get my attention and keep it, and was not alone. Even good and well-meaning presenters were often only getting about half of the audience’s attention.

I swore that if I ever were in a position to design learning experiences for professionals, I would value and respect the time being invested and create something useful, interesting, and memorable.

Now that I am facilitating these experiences, I get to do just that! Each workshop is tailored to the specific audience and designed not just with the content in mind, but with the energy level and buy-in participants are likely bringing to the experience. That means:

• Educators will never have their students referred to as customers

• Introverts won’t find themselves put on-the-spot

• Volunteers and donors won’t be treated like employees

• People will feel their time is valued and respected

• All sessions come with materials for follow-up conversations and reference

About Cost:

I know, few presenters post their fees. Generally, you can expect a range of 150-300 per hour depending on travel, prep needs, and additional services. I offer a sliding scale for non-profits and community colleges as well as discounts if you pair a workshop with a keynote or coaching package.
